From the team behind Roma Street Parklands’ lush cafe The Garden Room comes a sleek new waterfront venue tucked away by the river in Hamilton’s Northshore. Riva Kitchen & Events has taken over in the space where The River Room previously resided, with a stunning fitout from Lowry Group that's a Mediterranean dream.
Right alongside the water, the spacious, open-air spot is decked out in neutral, seaside tones, featuring plenty of stone tiling and natural wood, with ample seating outside in the breeze. The perfect spot for everything from casual coffees to long lunches, Riva is also available as a wedding and function space for a myriad of occasions.
If you’re just here for the food, the all day menu offers up dishes like tiramisu overnight oats and crispy potato cakes topped with cured salmon, soft-boiled egg and dill crème fraiche for breakfast, or spanner crab linguini and sweetcorn and zucchini fritters with eggplant relish and labneh for lunch.
